Terms and conditions
I. Definitions
1. “General Terms and Conditions”: These general terms and conditions.
2. “Meet Tuesday”: Workspot Millenium Tower B.V. (Meet Tuesday is a concept of Workspot Millenium tower B.V.) Contact details: Weena 690 -23rd floor, 3012CN Rotterdam
3. “You” or “Customer”: The natural or legal person with whom Meet Tuesday has an agreement and to which these general terms and conditions apply. In these general terms and conditions, this also includes the natural or legal person who requests a quote from Meet Tuesday.
4. “Guest” or “Guests”: Those who actually visit/will visit Meeting Center Meet Tuesday, whether or not because of or at the invitation of the Customer.
5. “Parties”: Meet Tuesday and the Customer.
6. “Room”: One or more of the rooms that can be booked by customers at Meet Tuesday. All rooms are located on the 23rd floor of the Millenium tower (Weena 690) in Rotterdam.
7. “Meeting Center Meet Tuesday”: The set of rooms, with the associated circulation areas and other areas.
8. “Catering”: Services consisting of meal care and similar services, whether or not based on a standard arrangement offered by Meet Tuesday.
9. “Quotation”: A quotation drawn up by Meet Tuesday in response to a request in which the (intended) Customer makes a proposal for booking a Room and/or Catering. These General Terms and Conditions apply to the Quotation.
10. “Stay”: The use of a Room in connection with a booking during a certain (agreed) time slot, including any overrun).
11. “Host”: An employee of Meet Tuesday.
12. “House Rules”: Rules regarding the Stay and presence in Meeting Center Meet Tuesday of you as a Customer and of Guest(s).
II. Booking a room at Meet Tuesday
1. Booking a Room: It is possible to book a Room at Meet Tuesday by:
a. can be booked online via the Meet Tuesday website or via an (online) third-party platform; or
b. by requesting a quote from Meet Tuesday and accepting this quote by the Customer.
2. By booking, an agreement is concluded between the Parties, to which these General Terms and Conditions apply.
3. Online bookings: If you book a room via an online reservation platform, you pay the costs for the booking directly via the online reservation platform and the booking is made immediately.
4. Booking via a Quote: If you request a Quote, the Room will be reserved for you at the desired time. Meet Tuesday will then send you a quote by email. The Quotation states its validity period. You will then be given the opportunity to accept the quotation via the secure digital environment of Meet Tuesday, unless otherwise indicated by MeetTuesday.
5. After the expiry of the (validity of) the quotation, the reservation will lapse and Meet Tuesday is free to give the Room to another party without notifying you.
6. If you accept a quote after its validity period has expired, Meet Tuesday is free to reject or accept the booking at its own discretion.
7. MeetTuesday is entitled to require a down payment at any time.
III. Reservation of Catering
1. Meet Tuesday offers you the opportunity to use Catering during your Stay. An order to provide Catering (the order) is concluded by:
a. Ordering Catering when booking the Hall online.
b. When the Quotation - in addition to booking the Room - also relates to ordering Catering, and you have accepted this Quotation.
c. When you request a separate Quotation for Catering and you have accepted the Quotation sent by Meet Tuesday.
2. Online ordering when booking the Room: If you book a Room online and also order Catering, you pay directly via the online reservation platform and the order is placed immediately. When placing an online order, it is only possible to choose from the standard packages offered there. You must indicate how many Guests will be present for whom the Catering must be provided, the amount to be paid is based on the number of persons specified. Please note that it is not possible to communicate dietary requirements via the online booking platform. You must inform Meet Tuesday directly of any dietary requirements.
3. Order via a Quote for a Room: If you request a quote and indicate that you wish to order Catering, Meet Tuesday will make an offer for Catering in its Quote. The order is placed after accepting the Quotation.
4. Orders via a separate Quotation: You can submit a request to Meet Tuesday - after booking a Room - to provide Catering. Meet Tuesday can refuse or accept that request. If Meet Tuesday accepts the request, it will send you a quotation in an offer for Catering to you. The order is placed after accepting the Quotation.
5. Meet Tuesday is entitled to require a down payment at any time.
6. When submitting your request, you must take into account the number of Guests you expect during the Stay. You must also inform Meet Tuesday of any dietary requirements when requesting Catering. The offer for Catering included in a Quotation by Meet Tuesday is based on the expected number of Guests specified by the Customer and the dietary requirements specified by the Customer.
7. If you do not know how many Guests will be present at the time of requesting a Quotation, you can request Meet Tuesday to include a provisional item in the Quotation with an amount per guest. If the Quotation mentions a provisional amount, you must communicate the final number of Guests no later than 14 days before the Stay, unless otherwise stated in the Quotation. In this case, Meet Tuesday may require a (provisional) down payment.
8. If - after ordering Catering - you expect fewer Guests, the cancellation provisions for Catering (see below) apply mutatis mutandis, with the understanding that any refunds will be made in proportion to the number of fewer Guests. To illustrate: if you have ordered Catering for 12 people, but you indicate in a timely manner that only 9 will come, the costs (less any cancellation costs) for these 3 Guests will be deducted or refunded.
9. If you want to change your order after ordering Catering - for example because you are expecting more Guests, or unexpectedly have different (dietary) wishes - you can request Meet Tuesday to issue an amended or additional Quotation. You understand that Meet Tuesday uses external suppliers for Catering, and it will therefore not always be possible to meet your wishes, especially if the desired changes are communicated shortly before the Stay.
10. All prices for Catering - as stated on the online reservation platform or in a Quotation - are stated in Euros and are exclusive of VAT.
11. The Customer is expressly prohibited from consuming his own consumption (food and drinks) in Meeting Center Meet Tuesday.
IV. General provisions Quotations
1. Meet Tuesday is at all times free to refuse to issue a Quotation in response to a request for a quote. Meet Tuesday will inform the Customer of the refusal. In that case no reservation will be made.
2. Meet Tuesday reserves the right to shorten the validity period of an issued Quotation to 24 hours, from the moment the Customer has been informed of this. If Meet Tuesday does not receive an acceptance of the Quotation within these 24 hours, the reservation will lapse and Meet Tuesday has the right to cancel the reservation and give the Room to another party.
3. If a Quotation is requested and/or accepted, or an online booking is made, on behalf of a legal entity, or a private company, or a comparable legal entity, the (natural) person who carries out the aforementioned act hereby declares to Meet Tuesday that he or she is fully authorized to perform the aforementioned actions on behalf of the Customer. If it turns out (afterwards) that he or she was not authorized to perform the aforementioned actions, he or she is personally liable for the damage suffered by Meet Tuesday.
4. If your wishes give rise to customization, for example in the form of a Quotation based on subsequent calculation, then the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions can be deviated from. Any deviations from these General Terms and Conditions will in that case be included in the Quotation. By accepting the Quotation, the deviating conditions included therein become part of the agreement between the Parties.
V. Cancellation at Meet Tuesday
1. After booking a Room and/or ordering Catering, a binding agreement is concluded between the Parties. The Customer can only cancel his booking and/or order in compliance with the following provisions.
2. If you wish to cancel, the cancellation must be communicated to Meet Tuesday by email. A cancellation takes place per Stay, even if the booking relates to several (non-consecutive) moments of Stay. (You must specify which Stay you wish to cancel.)
3. You owe the following fixed cancellation costs to Meet Tuesday according to the scale below:
- Cancellation more than 2 months before the first day of the Stay: No costs.
- Cancellation between 2 months and 1 month before the first day of the Stay:
25% of the total agreed costs, minus any down payment.
- Cancellation between 30 days and 14 days before the first day of the Stay: 50% of the total agreed costs, less any deposit.
- Cancellation between 2 p.m days and 0 days before the first day of the Stay: 100% of the total agreed costs, less any down payment.
4. The aforementioned cancellation costs will be charged (separately) on the agreed costs for both booking a Room and for ordering Catering.
5. Meet Tuesday uses the services of third parties to provide catering. If these third parties charge costs to Meet Tuesday in connection with the cancellation of the Catering, and these costs exceed the amount due on the basis of the aforementioned graduated scale, Meet Tuesday will pass this on to you one-on-one with a surcharge of 5% for administration costs. In this case you are obliged to pay these additional cancellation costs to Meet Tuesday.
6. All prices communicated by Meet Tuesday, both via email and quotation, are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
7. If you have already paid for the booking of the Room and/or the Catering order, the part already paid, minus the cancellation costs, will be refunded to you on the account from which the payment was made. If you have not yet paid, but you do owe cancellation costs, you will receive an invoice by email.
VI. Payments
1. Bookings for a Room and orders for Catering via an online reservation platform are paid for in the manner stated.
2. Payments for the Accommodation and/or Catering are made on the basis of invoicing afterwards, with the exception of any down payment.

4. All payments must be made in Euros.
5. Other amounts owed by the Customer to Meet Tuesday under the agreement (including cancellation costs) must also be paid into the aforementioned account number.
6. If your booking of a Room or reservation of Catering is made on the basis of a Quotation, certain items may be included in the Quotation. For example, a fixed price per person for catering, when you have indicated that the number of expected persons is still uncertain. As soon as you have confirmed the final number of Guests in accordance with Article III.6 of these General Terms and Conditions, the final price will be determined, unless otherwise stated in the Quotation.
7. Payment for each invoice (whether or not sent digitally) must be made no later than 30 days after the invoice date, unless stated otherwise in the invoice. In the event that a payment is made after the payment term, Meet Tuesday is entitled to an interest of 2.0% per month, plus the statutory commercial interest at Meet Tuesday's discretion. The Customer is also fully liable for any collection and attorney costs incurred.
8. In the event that Meet Tuesday's bank details change, you will receive a message from us by e-mail. In the event that you receive such a message, we recommend that you call your Meet Tuesday sales contact to confirm the authenticity of this message before making payment.
9. If (extra) costs have to be paid at the location of Meet Tuesday, we accept Maestro, VISA and MASTERCARD. No cash payments are taken or accepted within Meet Tuesday.
VII. House rules Meeting Center Meet Tuesday
1. Meet Tuesday can draw up House Rules. If available, these House Rules can be consulted on the Meet Tuesday website and on site at the Meet Tuesday Meeting Center. If Meet Tuesday has drawn up House Rules, these form an inseparable part of these General Terms and Conditions.
2. In addition to any House Rules, the following rules apply:
During their stay at Meeting Center Meet Tuesday, Guests are obliged at all times to follow instructions from the Host / Meet Tuesday.
Guests are prohibited from causing noise or other nuisance, leaving behind waste or otherwise polluting Meeting Center Meet Tuesday.
Guests interact with others in a decent manner.
Guests are prohibited from making film recordings in Meeting Center Meet Tuesday without prior permission from the Host / Meet Tuesday.
Guests are prohibited from making sound recordings in Meet Tuesday without prior permission from the Host / Meet Tuesday, with the exception of sound recordings in the Room which are recorded with the door(s) closed.
Guests can use flex desks, break-out rooms and the bar, where available. Meet Tuesday cannot guarantee that these spaces will be available during your Stay.
Guests can make coffee/tea/water in the Meet Tuesday lounge during their stay.
Any (other) refreshments are available from the Host. The Host can inform You / Guest about the AA upon request offer, prices and payment terms.
The Customer is expressly prohibited from consuming his own consumption (food and drinks) in Meeting Center Meet Tuesday.
VIII. The use of the Room during your Stay
1. Meet Tuesday has the right to vacate the booked Room as soon as the time slot of your Stay has expired. If, for whatever reason, you are late and would like to extend your Stay, Meet Tuesday may allow this up to a maximum of half an hour before the subsequent reservation of the Room by a third party, or until a maximum of 9:00 PM on the same day. Extending the duration of stay is only possible based on availability and approval from Meet Tuesday. If your Stay is extended, Meet Tuesday will charge additional costs. These costs are separate from the previously quoted rate for the room and will be calculated at the time of extension.
2. Meet Tuesday is entitled to include additional rules regarding the use of the Hall in its House Rules. Therefore, please consult the House Rules for your Stay.
IX. Customer Liability
1. The Customer is liable for all damage that he or the Guest(s) present on his behalf cause to the Room or other areas belonging to or near Meeting Center Meet Tuesday, or the building to which Meeting Center Meet Tuesday belongs (the Millenium tower). ).
2. Damage also includes contamination that exceeds normal use (crumbs, coffee stains on the table, etc.).
X. Liability Meet Tuesday
1. Meet Tuesday is not liable or responsible for the loss of or damage to personal property on location.
2. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Meet Tuesday is not liable for any loss or other damage resulting from Meet Tuesday's failure to provide a service as a result of a technical malfunction, force majeure, strike or termination of the rental agreement between Meet Tuesday and the owner of the building in which Meeting Center Meet Tuesday is located.
3. The customer expressly and specifically waives any right to compensation and undertakes not to submit a claim for compensation in respect of direct, indirect, exemplary, special or consequential damage, including but not limited to loss of trade, turnover, profit or loss of data arising for any reason from or in connection with the agreement between the Parties, any shortcoming in the services provided on the basis thereof, any error or negligence in that regard, any shortcoming of any third parties engaged for the Catering or any interruption of service by Meet Tuesday.
XI. Force majeur
1. Meet Tuesday is - in addition to what is stated in the previous article the word) to any agreement, commitment or any other obligation. In such cases, the Customer and/or Guest can never hold Meet Tuesday - in or out of court - for compliance with that agreement, obligation or any other obligation. Finally, the Customer has no right to terminate or withhold or suspend payment in the event that the Stay cannot take place as a result of a government-imposed forced closure of Meeting Center Meet Tuesday.
XII. Privacy
1. Meet Tuesday processes personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation.
XIII. Applicable law and the competent court
1. A booking for a Room made between the Parties does not qualify as a rental agreement within the meaning of Book 7, Title 4 of the Civil Code.
2. Meet Tuesday is entitled to unilaterally change these General Terms and Conditions. In the event of changes, Meet Tuesday will inform the Customer of these changes. There will be at least one month between the notification and the entry into force of the amended conditions.
3. Dutch law applies to the agreement(s) concluded between the Parties, of which these General Terms and Conditions form an integral part.
4. The competent court to hear any disputes arising from the implementation of the agreement(s) applicable between the Parties will - unless mandatory law rules provide otherwise - be settled exclusively by the competent judge of the Rotterdam District Court, seat in Rotterdam.
